Come meet Leah and Becki from Big Bucks!
1) So both of you work at Big Bucks, a lot of people don’t know about this place... How wild does it get in there?
Leah: It’s always a party there at Bucks. It gets pretty intense, the girls up dancing on the platforms, dancing on the table, even the bar staff dancing on the bar at the end of the night- everyone is drunk and having a blast- I love it, such a party atmosphere!!
Becki: Well all i can say is it is different every night and so is the crowd but everyone that comes out comes to party and they definitely can drink....lol but all i can guarantee is that we are always there! XO
2) What’s the crowd like at Bucks?
Leah: Everyone is in party-mode, just out to have a good time. Good mix of girls and guys; they’re a lot of fun
Becki: Crazy and drunk! lol everyone that comes out really knows how to get there alcohol fills for the night.
3) Have long have you girls been working there?
Leah: 9-10 months now…I was a hardcore regular for 2 years before I started working there though, now I've got the inside AND out of bucks!!
Becki: OMG too long, i think 4 years now
4) What do you two do there?
Leah: I’m a server, so anyone who needs drinks throughout the bar can always find me running around with a tray in my hand
Becki: i was always a waitress/cocktail girl but now i am a premiere beer tub girl which is good because you don’t get your ass grabbed as much lol
5) Is it usually packed there on weekends?
Leah: Friday’s are just getting started, so that’s too new to tell yet. But Saturday’s are INSANE.
Becki: Saturdays you CAN’T move and good luck getting on the dance floor, and guys there commonly is more females than guys not often a sausage fest on Saturdays.
6) I heard there are a couple patios; do they still keep it open in the winter?
Leah: Not the front patio, but the back patio, upper level is. It’s semi-enclosed with a tarp and heaters, which makes it good for all the smokers not to get too cold.
Becki: The back patio is open and heated so for all you smokers you don’t have to freeze your ass off while you get your nic fix.
7) Two hot sexy girls like yourself must get hit on an a lot...any really cheesy pick up lines?
Leah: Non stop, after too many beers those boys seem to become ‘superman’ (at least THEY seem to think so ha ha ). I can’t think of any that really stand out though, they’re all equally as cheesy. You’ll hear the same lines from 30 guys in a row as you walk by them, its entertaining really. Gotta love the confidence lol
Becki: Well i find people are shy until after a couple drinks then the lines start flowing. I stand at my beer tub with a female bouncer too so the guys that come up to say anything have courage cause she is ready to kick everyone’s ass lol. She is my body guard. But when guys have been drinking almost all lines turn out to be cheesy.
…Any good ones? lol
Leah: I had one guy I saw a lot, who knew at the time I had a boyfriend say this to me every Tuesday: “So you still got that boyfriend? Yeah? So I Cant hit on you yet then eh?? Alright- you let me know when you’re single and I can hit on you- cause I don’t wanna be THAT guy” It was funny, and definitely different
Becki: Oh for sure my favorite was this guy that came up to me and said "OH MY GOD, you know what? you are almost as hot as me" lol those ones are always better than the usually drunk slurring of "wow you have really pretty eyes" or the "i bet you have a boyfriend" those ones really don’t work but they are so drunk i don’t think they care. lol
8) How’s the other staff at Big Bucks? Do you party with anyone else that works there?
Leah: Everyone at Bucks is like a big family. We’re all different people, but all similar in ways- it’s like a certain personality that comes with working at Bucks. Of course we party together, at work and outside of work- always hitting up the clubs in T.O on our off nights…like Money on Sundays, Level/Wetbar on a Thursday, and Metro Thursday, and Hotel on Fridays…Great Times
Becki: Definitely before we used to head to Money nightclub every Sunday for industry night in the legendary limo trips......then it switched to seven lounge on a Thursday and then we graduated to only the girls going out (which is much better, more free drinks and no cover when you leave the boys at home XO) so its the servers and beer tub girls who go out and hit the stages in Toronto now and that’s always an outing like the night when a stripper ended up in our limo ride home lol!
9) I got to ask this...wildest thing you've seen at Bucks?
Leah: Nothing overly wild really happens at bucks, usual bar-crazy people…but one night I saw these 2 girls dying for some attention practically dyke it out on a table together…..it was interesting, they were pretty scary looking.
Becki: HA HA well I would say stupidest as opposed to wildest! While I was front beer tub I saw some girl that was slutting it up and having a good time dancing on the table tops, she was wearing a short skirt so she had a crowd of boys around the stand ups just staring up in awe, but then her sexy moves didn’t go as planned and she bailed all the way to a belly flop on the dance floor...lol I never saw her again, I wonder why? I have also seen a girl attempt to jump one side of the stage to the other and she misjudged how far of a jump it would be and landed in the garbage can in between and of course GOT HER ASS STUCK, nice!
Ok now...weirdest thing?
Leah: This really weird group of guys, covering themselves in napkins…as if they were hats, bibs, and other odd ways to attach a napkin to themselves….they thought it was great to hang around main bar calling themselves aliens
Becki: The weirdest would be the whole dance floor and crowd is parting and on stage a overweight farm looking boy turns and drops his pants completely.....he is right in the spotlights and on stage and absolutely NO ONE seemed to notice lol he had his pants down for about 5 minutes before he decided no doorman or any partiers were noticing his stunt so he gave up and hiked his jeans back up!
Believe me I WISH I wasn’t the only one to witness this!
10) Where can you be spotted downtown?
Leah: Used to be at Money on a Sunday all the time, haven’t been downtown as much lately- Hotel lounge is definitely a great time.
Becki: Now a days helium on a Sunday (inside of level nightclub) HOTEL lounge on a Friday and sometimes LOT on a Thursday! I am loyal to clubs I don’t mix it up I go where I like and go there every week lol!
11) What’s some of your other interests besides this type of lifestyle?
Leah: I’m very into Fashion- I love to shop, and I love to throw parties, especially for people I love. Really into events planning and PR.
Becki: Definitly the gym/fitness i am addicted. I am also a make up artist and LOVE that career it is so fun and you get to meet amazing people. Theres so many things i like to do that no one would believe lol so i just won’t tell ya XO
12) Have you girls ever worked at a different club?
Leah: I did mainly restaurant bars before this, but now I also work at another club in Burlington as well as Bucks.
Becki: Yes i used to work at the government in Toronto; i also have worked in various bars in Hess village, and ALOT of lounges.
13) What are a few hot tracks that you two like jammin’ too while partying?
Leah: Far too many tracks to name just a few…if its hot I love it!! Anything to get me in the party mood!!
Becki: OMG soooo many .. anything house really, most things they don’t play at bucks cause i hear it so many times lol
