Kaption Audio's Indescribable Neon
I'm sure most of you have purchased some sort of aftermarket product for your car. It all starts from a single addition, then it progresses into an addiction. You seem to want to buy more and more parts and continue to either modify the aesthetics of your car and/or the performace. Well, Mike Andreoli has fallen to this addiction more then most of us. But, with his addiction he has produced one of the most stunning vehicles in the import scene today. Rather then conforming to the most purchased car to modify, Mike decided he would purchase a not so popular car in the scene; a Dodge Neon. The car at first was purchased as a daily driver, but now it has been transformed into a show dominating trailer queen! The first additions of Mikes car was the traditional body kit, wheel and tires, stereo upgrades, and minor motor modifications. Then he decided that his next step was to strip out the entire interior and give it a white/black vinly total makeover. This would seem to please most, but not Mike, he needed more. So he was introduced to friends of BeforeLastCall.com's founder, who he has used for years in modifying his vehicle, Bond and Glenn from RodeTec Collision, Concord Ontario. With these two guys he was able to take it to the next level. He converted his front end to fit 1995 Honda Civic headlights, installed the is300 inner taillights, custom-made hood, complete change of body kit, fibreglass painted interior that matched the new blue exterior paint that was applied, complete with a molded TV/Playstation 2 in the dash. This awarded him trophy's in such shows as its debut at ImportFest, SCN in Montreal, Speedorama, etc. But at the end of summer 2004 he decided that he wanted to compete with the big boys in the import scene. He wanted to dominate the show scene with a Dodge Neon, something that has yet to be done. He approached Bond once again and asked for some insight with what they think could bring him to the top of the show scene. With contributions from Bond, Glenn, the BeforeLastCall.com founder, and Mike himself, he was able to compile a list of objectives he wanted to complete by the '05 summer show season.
     
Once Kaption Audio caught glimpse of this remarkable vehicle they wanted to become apart of it and offered Mike a full audio sponsorship and helped Mike attain additional sponsors that helped him complete his dream of owning a show domination custom show car. And, now, almost the Summer '05 show season, the car is complete and ready to start dominating!
